Mk.IV & Mk.V
We can obtain comprehensive range of parts for these models from 1938 onwards, with some parts available for vehicles produced between 1936-8.
Jaguar Mk. IV:
Based on the pre war 1.5L, 2.5L and 3.5L models, the Jaguar Mk.IV was introduced in 1946. After the war, the name SS could no be used, so the Jaguar name was introduced.
Although commonly known as the Mk.IV, this title was never officially given to this model, and serves as a term of reference for those vehicles produced immediately after the war. These were available as saloon or drophead models, with left-hand drive models being introduced in August 1947.

Jaguar Mk. V:
A comprehensive range of parts is also available for the Mk. V model.
In 1949, the Mk. V became available, again in saloon and drophead models. It was fitted with the existing 2.5 litre and 3.5 litre engines, and featured independent front suspension and hydraulic brakes. The bodyshape was closely related to that of the previous model, but it had detachable spats over the rear wheels, and double bumpers. Production of the Mk. V ceased in 1951, by which point nearly 11, 500 had been made, over 8,500 of which were 3.5 litres.
